BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL half-time against the Kempsville Chiefs at home.

Boys varsity basketball standouts sophomore Tayvion Robinson and Kavon James helped lead the team to a 74-59 victory over the Kempsville High School Chiefs earlier this week.

The Falcons held an 18-0 lead over the Chiefs in the first quarter of play. Robinson sank two three-pointers and dunked the ball in the first half, while Kavon James dropped in another 17 points to close out the game.

The return of key players seniors Kelvin Johnson and Jordan Williams also showed offered needed support in the middle. The boys start this season off with a 1-1 record.

The team takes on the Salem Sun Devils Friday, Dec. 9, at Salem as they look to extend their record to over five hundred.
