Chick’s Oyster Bar:

A popular local eatery among teenagers and young adults.  Chick’s serves a variety of seafood and classic American dishes, along with a selection of beverages.  The atmosphere is friendly and comes with a beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay. Chick’s has parking for both boats and cars and is located on 2143 Vista Circle in Virginia Beach, VA.

Taste Unlimited:

Taste Unlimited is a local favorite. This sandwich shop has over 20 sandwiches, healthy salads, soups, and bakery items. Its café environment is great for a nice lunch with friends or working on a laptop. Taste has many locations including Shore Drive and Hilltop.

Sakura:

Sakura is a local popular Japanese restaurant which serves sushi, salads, noodles, and other seafood. The restaurant was founded in 1988 by Marc Ha in Fredericksburg, VA. Sakura is a popular place for families and couples and is located on 2973 Shore Drive.

Plaza Azteca:

Plaza Azteca is a Mexican restaurant which has been serving Virginia Beach for over 10 years. The restaurant serves  many varieties of burritos, quesadillas, salads, and other popular favorites. The restaurant was founded in 1994 by two gentlemen from Jalisco, Mexico and is located on 2272 West Great Neck Road.

Bay Local:

Bay Local is a new Virginia Beach favorite featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the surrounding areas of Virginia. The restaurant features coastal southern food, including fresh oysters from the eastern shore and fruits and vegetables from Pungo. This restaurant has a great family atmosphere and is lodcated on 2917 Shore Drive.

Java Surf:

Java Surf is a café and espresso bar  with a new location on 1807 Mediterranean Avenue. The café has many different types of coffee, juices, sandwiches, melts, and pastries. Java Surf has a friendly environment that welcomes both tourists and locals alike, providing a friendly work environment and a relaxing place to cool off after spending time on the beach.
