Falcons take title
The varsity football team earned their first ever Beach District title last Friday after beating Kempsville High School 51-25 and advancing to a 9-1 overall record. The win put the Falcons at the number two seed in their division, Conference 6A, advancing them into the first round of the playoffs.
On Friday, Nov. 11, the Falcons will take on the Grizzlies of Grassfield High School (8-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at home.
Offensive Coordinator T.J. Morgan has assisted Head Coach Bill Stachelski for the past eight years.
“This is the first Beach District title in this school’s 55 year history and we’re not done yet,” Coach Morgan said.
