Both the boys and girls swim and dive teams took first place in the 6A South Regional Championship meet this past weekend, propelling them to the state championship meet this weekend in northern Virginia.

Sophomore Tara LaRusso had four wins in the 100 meter back and 100 meter free races, and she also was a member of two winning relay teams.

Senior Tasos Moditsis won the 50 meter free and 100 meter free.
