Gymnasts advance to regionals
SENIOR NOEL TAYLOR finishes her warm up routine before she performs.
Senior Noel Taylor and juniors Mary Munitz and Jackie Garret qualified for the regional competition this weekend after competing in the district competition at Bayside High School.
Taylor advanced in floor exercise with a score of 9.4, and Munitz advanced for bars, and beam, and her floor routine. Garret advanced on the vault with a score of 4.
The regional competition will take place February 12, 13, and 14 at Colonial Forge High School in Northern Virginia.
“I’m really excited to be moving on to regionals! Floor has always been my favorite event to perform, and I really wish my whole team could be there with me,” Taylor said.
