“I am involved in many things here at Cox including the golf team, being senior class president, Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow (VTfT) and SCA. In each of the clubs and sports I have been involved in, I have built relationships with both teachers and other students that are now some of my most cherished. All of these things I have been involved in over the last four years have shaped me into who I am today. The teachers I have had in my time at Cox have also made a huge impact on my life as I have learned life lessons from each and every one of them. I am going to the University of Virginia where I plan to study elementary education and I received the VTFT contract this year. I plan to continue to get involved in the same kinds of things that I have at Cox High School.”
Humans Of Cox: May 2024 Edition
As a tribute to the social media blog “Humans of NY”, the Falcon Press staff decided to create a spin-off entitled, “Humans of CHS”. Staff members will roam the hall each month until they find a “human” with an inspirational bit of advice, unusual story to tell, or who simply wants to chat about life.
SENIOR KATIE SAGER reflects on her high school career over the past four years. Sager will begin her next chapter at the University of Virginia in the fall.

I've been playing soccer for 11 years for my club team, and this will be my second year playing for Cox. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, and traveling.

I am on the Cox Coquette team and have been dancing for 12 years. I love summer and the beach, but in the winter, snowboarding and skiing are my favorite winter sports!
