“Having the opportunity to play with such a great group of guys each season for the last four years has impacted my life in countless ways. Through the wins and losses, I’ve learned how to adapt to almost any situation. No matter the result, focusing on what we can control has been key to my success over the past four years. I’ve been fortunate enough to lead the Falcons the past two years as captain, and it is an honor and a privilege to serve as a role model for the team. Being a strong leader requires strict discipline and belief, no matter how bad the situation may be. For me, getting the guys to focus on doing the little things right and being diligent athletes is something I’ve been striving to do for the past few months. With the hope of pushing for states, the road will only get tougher, but with enough preparation and conviction, I know we can get to the finals. After I graduate, I want to be remembered for the type of person I am, rather than how many wins, losses, or goals I recorded. It’s not about the statistics or fancy social media posts but rather a legacy that people can follow and remember for years to come. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on the team, and each relationship I’ve made has shaped me into the person I am today.”
