“CHS Softball has shaped me into the player and person I am today. It has taught me how to fully rely on and lead my teammates. On the field, I am able to be completely myself and have a community behind me that I know is supporting every move I make. It has led me to strengthen my leadership skills and become a person whom any of the girls can come to for help. The impact that I hope to leave behind on the program is the fact that they know they are able to compete with any team. Throughout my years on the team, we have either come closer than ever or have beaten teams that we failed to beat in years. I want the program to continue on with the battling mentality and the competitiveness that I (while sometimes crazy) have fought every game with, along with the girls. The most memorable part of CHS softball over the years has been the game days. Whether it was on the field or on the bus, every warmup and game has so much energy and fun that everyone carries with them. I know that when I have my last out on the field in the last game, the thing I will miss the most are the girls and the joy they have brought throughout the years.”
