“I’m so excited and honored to be Valedictorian! I will be attending Northwestern University in the fall and pursuing a double major in theater and political science with a minor in dance. All of my teachers at CHS have been incredibly supportive and caring throughout my high school experience, and I feel truly connected to all of them. They continuously encouraged me to challenge myself academically and helped me grow into the person I am today. Additionally, I have the utmost gratitude and respect for my parents, who both taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, finding joy in the mundane, and pursuing excellence in everything I do. Their constant support and encouragement pushed me to work hard and stay motivated, even during difficult moments. I truly would not be Valedictorian without them, and I am beyond grateful for everything they have done for me.”
