NAHS sand sculpture takes second

National Art Honor Society (NAHS) students came together in a meeting of the minds at last weekend’s Neptune Festival Sand Sculpting contest, placing second in the high division.

Students were given a theme, “Adventures through Books,” and asked by judges to illustrate a novel in the sand.  Within the limited four hour span of time, NAHS chose the classic novel Moby Dick, written by Herman Melville.
