Leadership Workshop applications will be accepted now through Friday, February 20, and may be turned in outside of room 134.
Workshop weekend takes place Friday, March 27, through Sunday, March 29, and will be held at Camp Silver Beach on the Eastern Shore. Leadership workshop, an incredibly popular annual event, is led by upperclass students and caters to younger students. The workshop lasts the entire weekend and is planned throughout the year by selected students.
The workshop provides entertainment, fun games, the opportunity to create group skits, and more activities geared toward developing future leaders. Teachers Mrs. Nardelli and Mr. Duffy have led the event for years and are well-versed in suggesting what to bring for the weekend. Chaperones also take turns watching over events and those involved.
This year’s Workshop directors will be seniors Rex Miller and Cecelia Nardelli. Seniors Grayson Miller, Ben Kimnach, Nate Wallace, Sami Sager, Addie Rekant, MJ Lemke, Tripp Faison, Ethan Rayno, Danny Barreiro, and Jessie Devito will act as team leaders for workshop attendees.
“Leadership Workshop is an inclusive weekend where underclassmen learn skills like problem solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills. The workshop is led by seasoned leaders, who use their skills learned in the workshop and apply them to teach the younger generation,” Mrs Nardelli said.
