As Term 1 comes to a close, students who take 4×4 classes must take Standards of Learning (SOLs) tests to show mastery of courses. While testing used to be given over the course of eight days, the tests are now given at the end of the terms, or semesters, over four days.
Testing begins Thursday, January 8, and continues through Tuesday, January 13.
TESTS BY DAY INCLUDE:
Thursday, January 8 – Reading
Friday, January 9 – Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science
Monday, January 12 – World History I, II VA/US History
Tuesday, January 13 – Algebra I, II & Geometry
ADJUSTED SCHEDULE:
TESTING: 7:20-10:45 AM
BLOCK 1: 10:50-11:25 AM
BLOCK 2: 11:30 AM-12:10 PM
BLOCK 3: 12:15-12:50 PM
LUNCH: 12:50-1:25 PM
BLOCK 4: 1:25-2:00 PM
