Homecoming Spirit Week: October 23-27

SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS wear their best dynamic duo outfits to represent the first day of spirit week. They all wore matching barbie outfits on Monday for the “match with your friends” day.

The first fall spirit week begins as Homecoming kicks off ; the themes for each Spirit Day include:

Monday: “You’ve Got a Friend In Me”: match with friends

Tuesday: “Teen Beach Surfers Vs. Bikers”:  surfer or biker gear

Wednesday: “Cloud 9 Ski Resort”: coziest ski gear

Thursday: “Tacky Tourist Day”: the best “I’m not from here” attire

Friday: “Game Day Ready” : pink out (and don’t forget green & gold)

DISTRIBUTIVE EDUCATION CLUBS of America students attended the DECA State Competition where several organization members placed in their chosen categories. Led by Advisor Mrs. Bolling, two students will head to Anaheim, California, after securing 2nd place in their [respective] category.

ST. PATRICKS DAY ushers in the annual Yuengling Shamrock marathon, bringing droves of people into the city. Shades of green and gold were seen as far as the eye could see.

OPERATION SMILE MEMBERS placed appreciation notes on flowers for teachers on the last day of spread the love week. Teachers loved the kind gesture; anyway could see it on their faces.
