Varsity Football face off against Ocean Lakes in Monday night thriller
Varsity Falcon football played at home last Monday against the Dolphins of Ocean Lakes in what proved to be an intense night.
According to MaxPreps.com, both teams came into the game in the top 10 state rankings for the 6A Division, and neither team disappointed. Although the game was a loss for the Falcons, the first of the season, players held the line for much of the game.
Offensively, the Falcons struggled but in the 3rd quarter the dynamic duo struck again. QB Tayvion Robinson found Leno Lester in the back of the end zone.
Defensively, the Falcons gave the Dolphins everything they could handle. The defensive line was reeking havoc all night and the rest of defense came to play as well.
Falcon football plays on Saturday, Sept. 29, against the Chiefs of Kempsville High School and then again at the Homecoming game against the Knights of Kellam High School.
