Three spring sports teams make their way to states.
Both men’s and women’s soccer teams qualified for states after decisive wins against the Knights of Kellam High school. Both teams secured home field advantage for the first state tournament game with wins over First Colonial at home last week. For the boys team, this was there first regional title in over a decade, cementing their place in school history.
Junior center back Quinten Trinidad has been an essential part of the teams success this year and is finally seeing it pay off.
” We came into the regional final against First Colonial rolling. We want to keep playing at a high intensity every game because its do, or die,” Trinidad said
Along side the soccer teams is the men’s tennis team making their way to states. The team has had an impressive run this season and have seen great productivity for players Bryan Toner and Riley Summers.
