Swinging into spring
The boys varsity baseball team did not start the season off as strong as they would have liked at 4-4, but after facing multiple out-of-conference opponents, the Falcons now have a record of 9-4.
The boys are currently on a five game winning streak and are looking to keep the run alive.
Junior pitcher Corey Ronca leads the team from the mound and is hopeful about the season.
“Our team has much potential if we stay focused. We lost a couple games due to us simply not focusing for the entire game. We must be resilient and keep working to improve,” Ronca said.
The Falcons host the Patriots of First Colonial High School on Tuesday, May 1. This will be the first of two meetings between the rivals this week with the second game at First Colonial on Thursday, May 3.
Come out and cheer on your fellow Falcons!
