The boy’s and girl’s varsity soccer teams have started the season exceptionally well. Their continuous hard work have led the boy’s team to a 2-1-1 record and the girl’s team to a 2-2-0 record. Following spring break, the teams are ready to continue their success through the end of the season.

Junior starlet Jack Young leads the boy’s soccer team in goals tallying three in four games. Young is hopeful for his next game against Grassfield.

“We have to be fired up going into our next game. Our lost to Hickory last game was a wake up call. We are going to have to go into every game with a winning attitude from here on,” Young said.

The Falcons take on the Grassfield Grizzlies on Thursday April 12 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.

The girl’s game starts at 5:30 pm and the boy’s follow 20 minutes after the end of the girl’s game.
