Rising senior and standout athlete Jordan Williams recently signed to Clemson University in South Carolina to play Division I football in the fall of 2018.  After fielding offers from approximately 31 colleges and universities, Williams decided to go with the Tigers’ program.

Q. Why did you choose to commit to Clemson University?
A. “
My family and I decided it was the best overall fit for us. The Clemson coaching staff and I have developed a tremendous relationship, making it the obvious choice.”

Q. What are you looking to achieve through playing college football?
A. “
I hope to further not only my football career, but also my academic career. And hopefully, one day, make it to the pros.”

Q. You still have another year of high school football left; what are your goals for the upcoming season?
A. “
This year, I’m looking to help the team out as much as I can to push deeper into the playoffs, and hopefully make it to the state championship. But, I plan to take it one step at a time, and one game at a time. I will help the team do what we have to on and off the field to make winning possible.”

Q. Is there anyone along your journey, thus far, that stands out to you?
A. “
My parents. They’ve been there for me throughout this entire process. All of my family has been there for me.”
