Following an initiative by Virginia Beach City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence, the school’s Falcon Press newspaper staff was presented the “Falcon Selfie Stick” at a faculty meeting in early October.

In an effort to encourage school spirit, the “selfie stick” is supposed to be transferred from organization to organization at each faculty meeting.

During the entire month of October and into November, Journalism students took to the hallways to capture “selfies” with the student body.
