Students packed the bleachers during Friday’s pep rally along with the wide variety of sports teams, the Homecoming Royalty Court, and members of the Student Cooperative Association (SCA), who organized the event, lined up along the track.
With this year’s Homecoming coming to an end last week, the Falcons held a pep rally on the football field in effort to hype students before the big against the Lions of Tallwood on Friday night. Along with the game during the halftime of the football field, a parade was held with floats for every class’s homecoming king and queen.
Some of the events during the pep rally included a performance from the Marching Falcons Band, a best Class tug-of-war competition, a field goal kicking contest, the announcement of the homecoming court nominees and the introduction of fall sports teams. The pep rally was ended by math teacher Mr. Duffy giving the iconic “I Am” speech, passed down from longtime teacher and coach Mr. DiNardo.
“The games and festivities at the pep rally were loads of fun for everyone involved,” senior football captain Hudson Bartley said.
