St. Patrick’s Day celebrates all things Irish, ranging from religious tradition, to food, to clothing; shades of green exploding everywhere one looks.

According to brittanica.com, blue was the color traditionally associated with St. Patrick, although green is now commonly connected with the day.

On this day adopted by Americans, it is commonplace for families and friends to gather together to celebrate, while sporting their green attire, eating Irish food, and drinking green beverages. The day is inclusive for children as well, offering games in which they search for four-leaf clovers and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
