Local high schools united on Saturday for one purpose: to support the Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in the annual CHKD Love Run.

Princess Anne High School (PAHS) SCA started the CHKD Love Run fourteen years ago in honor of their school’s president, who was diagnosed with cancer. Three years ago, our school joined the race in support of SCA sponsor Mrs. Shumate’s son Jack, who passed away after birth.

The school, along with PAHS SCA, successfully worked together to organize the 14th annual CHKD Love Run/Walk. The races was  5K (3.1 miles), and  included a one mile fun run/walk for children.
