Fringe: the first to feel, the last to fix

Seniors Natasha Quiñones and Adam Ward recently produced a Public Service Announcement (PSA) as a research project for their Dual Enrollment course.  The video, titled “Fringe: the first to feel / the last to fix,”  focuses on various problems pertaining to the environment, as well as focuses our generation’s role in what becomes of the environment.

The students’ passion on the topic seems evident in the both the description and development of their final product.

“The world in which society blossoms cannot be controlled by a political system that deems the natural-world unfit for consideration; yet the world is asphyxiated by capitalist, political powers that deem the green hue of a dollar more important than the green pulsating through the trees,” Quinones said.

Ward plans to pursue a major in Media Advertisement and Photography at Emerson College in Boston, MA, next year, while Quiñones will attend American University in Washington, D.C., to pursue a major in Film Production, Journalism, and a minor in Screenwriting.

Video footage was produced in iMovie using a Canon EOS 7D.   Accompanying music is provided by Son Lux. Various footage appearing here is from outside sources, all available on Youtube. Links to those videos will be credited below.
