Members of the National Honor Society (NHS) have volunteered around Virginia Beach to get in the spirit of giving back for the holidays this season. This week, students helped ready Parish Day Pre-School for its annual Holiday Party by donating holiday treats and gifts, making baked goods, and crafting to decorate the preschool.

Students also helped out at the party by running games, face painting, giving out snacks, and crafting with the children. Senior NHS member Caroline Davis organized the event in collaboration with teachers at the preschool.

“The Holiday Party was a huge success. All the preschoolers had so much fun interacting and playing with the National Honor Society volunteers. The Parish Day School staff was impressed with all the hard work put into the event,” said Davis.
