The JV Falcon Football team remains undefeated after picking up four wins in its first four games. The team is led by sophomore captains Braden Levy, Josh Rivera, Sawyer Koman, and Daniel Davis.
Davis fractured his tibia in the first game against Hickory, which was a huge loss to the team overall. But freshman Leo Remias is set to replace Davis at running back for the rest of the season.
The JV team’s defense has been on point, only allowing 14 combined points in four games. Sophomore Trey Miller has the most tackles so far, as well as an interception to his name.
The JV offense is led by freshman wide receiver Zaikwan Williams, who has scored a touchdown in all four games.
“If we focus on getting better every day and making every day an opportunity to improve, the sky is the limit,” Head JV Coach Justin Bank said.
The Falcons hope to continue racking up the “dubbs” as they take on the Chiefs of Kempsville High School away on Thursday, October 17, at 6 pm.
