Falcons earn fourth straight win, streak continues
What Happened: The Varsity Football team won their third away game against the Salem Sun Devils last Friday. The Falcons scored consistently throughout the whole game, with the final score 28-14.
Key player: Senior D.J. Johns ran for two touchdowns in total, including a 20 yard touchdown on a first down in the third quarter.
Quote: “Overall, we practiced harder and put more work in this week because our opponents are getting tougher,” Braden Lyons said.
Key Moment: On a third down play, junior captain Gage Treffry threw a long pass to senior Dominic Theidault in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Up next: The Falcons will face off against the Lions of Tallwood this Thursday, September 29,with kickoff starting at 7 p.m. The game, originally scheduled for this Friday, was moved up a day due to the expected weather delays from the most recent hurricane.
