Girls volleyball dominates regional competition
What Happened: The Lady Falcons volleyball team competed in the Flint Hill Annual Invitational in Oakton, Virginia, this past weekend. They competed against multiple teams from around the region. The girls were the runners-up of the invitational, ending with an impressive 4-1 finish. For the regular season, the team has maintained an impressive record is 6-2.
Key Players: Senior Hannah Prince and Junior Caitlyn Graves made the all tournament team for their impressive records and skill they demonstrated throughout the tournament and season.
They said it: “I am so proud of our team. Everyone worked so hard and I’m really excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for us,” senior Sophie Whitsel said.
Key Moment: The team beat Norfolk Academy, reclaiming their victory after losing to the Bulldogs earlier this season.
