Varsity football continues winning streak, crushing P.A. Cavaliers
What happened: Last Friday night CHS Varsity Football played the Princess Anne Cavaliers at home. The Falcons, sporting pink accessories in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, pulled out a win with a score of 27-3 despite prior incidents regarding forfeits and a serious injury that occurred in the first quarter of the game.
Key Player: Junior Jordin Cooper led the Falcons to victory with three touchdowns that accumulated 51 yards, but his performance kept team spirits high.
Quote: “We played pretty well considering the circumstances this week. Our win over the cavalier kept our win streak alive which is really important to the team,” sophomore lineman Aiden Clark.
Key Moments: Junior Jordin Cooper scored a 20-yard touchdown early in the third quarter to started the scoring spree for the Falcons. Cooper could not be stopped as he ran through the Cavalier’s chaotic defense.
