National Honor Society is one of the school’s most prestigious organizations and plans to host an induction ceremony to honor their newest members on Mar. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the library. The event is open to the inductees, their friends and family, and current members of National Honor Society. The main focus of the NHS organization is for members to better the community through various student-led events including events such as the “Love Run”, “Hoodies for the Holidays”, #Lunchbag, and “Boo Bash”.

This year’s National Honor Society is led by senior president Jason Boynewicz and senior vice president Megan McBride.

“Everyone on the executive board is very excited to introduce the amazing new members to all the good that National Honor Society does in the school and community,” Boynewicz said.

Included in the night’s event, senior NHS secretary Madeline Butkovich will be named as an NHS National Scholarship Semifinalist recipient, receiving a $3200 scholarship from the NHS parent organization, NASSP.
