‘Canvas to Clothing’ fashion: shows off student, teacher style

The annual fashion show, this year entitled “Canvas to Clothing” will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The show will feature Fashion and Marketing students, as well as teachers dancing and modeling clothes from a variety of stores.

The theme of the show is how art inspires fashion, therefore each scene in the show is inspired by a different piece of art.

Both students and teachers will model brands from local stores, such as Bahama Shop, WRV, Freedom Surf, Ocean Palm, Athleta, All the Rage, Men’s Wearhouse, and Buckle.

Door prizes, performances from Step Team and the Coquettes dance team, and an appearance from the contestants of the upcoming ‘Mr. Cox’ pageant plan to add variety and to break up each scene.

“Everyone has been practicing and working hard to prepare for the show,” senior director Emily Marks said.
