Q: What is one personal and one team goal for this upcoming season?
A: “A personal goal is to bat over .300 and less than 10 strike outs, but as a team I hope we are solid defensively.”
Q: What have you been doing in the off season to help you achieve these goals?
A: “I’ve just been lifting more and taking a lot more ground balls.”
Q: How has the Falcons baseball program helped you get a position on Randolph-Macon’s team?
A: “They’ve helped me more grow as a player by showing me how being on a team isn’t about myself, but more as a whole team and being a captain I have realized that more.”
Q: When was the first time Randolph-Macon approached you and when did you know you wanted to play for them?
“This summer, I emailed them telling them I was coming to play on their field with my showcase team and they watched me play. They emailed me after and said they wanted to see me play more and when I visited the school I really liked it and knew it would be a good fit. Not to mention they’re number 6 in the nation!”
Q: Is there anything you’re really excited about with playing college baseball?
A: “Just playing the game I love for another 4 years and getting to tell the girls I’m on the baseball team.”
Q: What are you looking to achieve through being a college student athlete?
A: “Being able to learn how to balance school and baseball also making new friends and memories of winning a couple championships together.”
