Draw my life: print to online evolution
The school’s newspaper is known for capturing every event and creating memories for the students to look back on. When Journalism I,II,III teacher Erin Tonelson took over six years ago, all three classes were combined into one block with 10 students. The program is now comprised of two classes and 55 students, is fully online, and attached to several media outlets.
Staff writers and editors Kathryn Arntsen, Myia Campbell, and Hope Weaver looked back over the the last six years and the evolution of Falcon Press News, from it’s years in print to the now, fully digital entity.
Arntsen, Campbell, and Weaver took a step back to create a timeline of events for the newspaper in the form of cartoons to recognize the modernization of Falcon Press News.
