National Library Week goes green

Catering students are taking part in the school’s National Library Week celebration, this year showcasing different environmentally friendly trades that are offered within the school and surrounding community.

Tuesday began with a presentation from Drama students, while Croc’s restaurant and the benefits of Yoga were featured on Wednesday. Today, the school’s Catering Club is demonstrating how to make healthy, easy meals, followed by presentations from Whole Foods Market and a nutritionist.

Students are offered the opportunity during each block to visit the library and watch presentations. National Library Week will conclude Friday with ‘healthy eats’ information from Trader Joe’s followed by a performance from Orchestra students.
