FRENCH STUDENTS ARE inducted into the school’s chapter of the French Honor Society.
New found “Frenchies”

The French Honor Society, or Société Honoraire de Français, recently welcomed their newest members in the annual Induction Ceremony held in the library.
After a few words from Principal Dr. Randi Reisbeck and sponsor Madame Margaret Beckner, the members lit a candle and received a kiss on each cheek. This simple act, known a “faire la bise,” was the final initiation into the society.
After new members were awarded a certificate and a pin, the inductees enjoyed refreshments. Current members juniors Ariana Ahmed, Will Hutchins, and Brendan Vachris also lent their musical talents to the ceremony.
