U.S. Air Force “Blue Aces” band recruits musically
A unique musical experience hosted by the Chorus department is “touching down” here at school on Wed. Mar 18. The United States Air Force Heritage of America “Blue Aces” Band will be performing for students during 4B in the Garrett Auditorium.
Fine Arts department chair and Choral Director Cindy Forbes organized the assembly and advertised it to students, faculty and staff.
“In the Fine Arts department, it’s required to attend a live performance. It is a good recruiting tool for students interested in joining different branches of the military, and it’s just a good, fun time with a laser light show,” Forbes said.
The “Aces” are a world renowned musical group representing the U.S. Air Force. Their goal is to spread the messages and ideology of the US Department of Defense through music. These rockers aim to inspire us by telling the Air Force story in an energy-charged and entertaining way. The show features a wide range of tunes, and is accompanied by a laser light show.
The band has made a video available on YouTube:
