Once again the school will lend a hand to those less fortunate within our community.

Office Manager Wendy Matthis again takes the lead, orchestrating and distributing Thanksgiving ‘baskets’ donated by various faculty, students, classes, and clubs to help families in need.

Throughout the month of November, Matthis, school Security Guard Tony Class, and Permanent Substitutes Jennifer Lee and Tyler Noe compiled 40 baskets of donated items, each with its own turkey.

“The need this year was greater than last year, but fortunately the school’s faculty and staff met that need,” Matthis said. ” We had such an overwhelmingly positive response.”

While Matthis, Lee, and Noe participated behind the scenes, Class actually gifted the baskets to families.

“The families were so thankful and felt blessed and appreciative to the school,” Class said. “It was amazing to see the joy in their faces.”
