The SCA sponsored annual ‘Boo Bash’ celebration was held Wednesday evening in the school’s gymnasium. The event, primarily for elementary school aged children and their parents, and hosted by the school’s clubs, is both an opportunity to provide spooky, pre-trick-or-treating fun, as well as donate items to those less fortunate within the community.

The event’s famous ‘haunted house’, set in one of the PE locker rooms, had children’s hair standing on end as, shrouded in darkness, werewolves and goblins popped out of every corner. Screams of scary delight could be heard all through the halls.

And, along with the trickery, ‘Boo Bash’ also took in donations of shoes, clothing, and canned goods for the United Way organization of Hampton Roads.

‘Boo Bash’ proved to once again be a success during this season of giving back, while bringing out the Halloween spirit in all of us.
