“Being named Homecoming king felt really crazy in the best way possible. I was super shocked when they called my name because I wasn’t expecting it at all. The best part, though, was that my girlfriend, Lolita, got crowned queen, and she totally deserved it more than I did. Seeing her face radiate with a giant smile and getting the opportunity to stand up there with her, was honestly the highlight of the night. It felt cool to be recognized, but I mostly just felt thankful for everyone who voted and supported us. I couldn’t stop laughing after because it all felt kind of unreal, like one of those movie moments. I’m not the type to think I’m a king or anything, but it was a really fun experience that I’ll always remember. At the end of the day it was all about having fun with my friends and celebrating with Lolita.”
