The annual bonfire, which will be held on Monday,. September 22, has become an exciting tradition that kicks off Homecoming Week each year. The mini pep rally is meant to encourage students to participate in Homecoming activities throughout the week, including the dance on Saturday night.
This year’s bonfire will be bigger, bolder, and include many more incentives to attend than ever before.
The Bonfire will offer food trucks from Salsa Libre, Sunshine Treats VB, & Kona Ice, as well as snacks donated from the many clubs and organizations around the school. Tons of games will be set up on the track, including an inflatable 80-foot-long obstacle course, Can Jam, Spikeball, Jenga, and much more.
Bonfire events also showcase Falcon talent, such as high-energy performances from the cheer squad, the Coquettes dance team, and a newer favorite, The Falcon Rock Band.
Falcon football will be guests at the event, and this year’s Homecoming Court will be announced.
Finally, at the center of it all, a beautiful bonfire to honor this year’s Homecoming Week; the CHS spirit and tradition will forever live on.
