As the new school year begins, college applications loom on the horizon.

Seniors, it might be time to start exploring universities. College Admissions Representatives visit the school each year to speak with students interested in applying to their institutions. Open to juniors and seniors, it is a great opportunity to talk one-on-one with a rep.

Matching a name and face before applying to a college or university makes it a bit easier to ask specific questions related to experienced staff members about chosen topics of interest.

ADMINISTRATION AND STUDENTS celebrated teachers and staff with an 80s themed Teacher Appreciation week. Food and treats were given to teachers throughout the day and a specialized 80s teacher "dress-up" spirit days were created in their honor.

"MORGAN'S MESSAGE" MEMBERS represent the school's chapter in the signature teal color chosen because it was Morgan's favorite color. All involved have dedicated themselves to raising awareness for student-athlete mental health.

JOURNALISM II, III, and IV students recently attended a field trip at TopGolf, Virginia Beach, to film a food review that included both A and Bday upper-level classes. The students were rewarded with the opportunity to compete against one another and sample some of the menu options available.

SENIOR AVA ALTAMURA represented the school's Operation Smile organization in Madagascar, East Africa. While there, Altamura had the opportunity to visit with local children and observe surgeries for cleft palette and other deformaties.
