“I am involved in Baseball, the Finance Club, the Book Club, and the National Honor Society. Within the baseball team, I have volunteered at kiddie camps every summer and was part of the 2023 State Championship run. As a senior, this season means something more to me. We all have aspirations of winning a state championship, but to me, it’s making sure I leave an everlasting legacy on the program that I know my teammates will uphold when I’m gone. During freshman year, I moved in from out of town and didn’t know anyone, so the best way to get to know my peers was to get involved. Little did I know, it was the best choice I ever made. The friendships I have made and the opportunities CHS has given me will hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. Being in clubs like the Finance Club and playing Varsity Baseball has shaped me into the person I am today and has shown me what I want to do in the future. After graduation in June, I am committed to furthering my academic and athletic career at The George Washington University in D.C. to play baseball and study business.”
