National Signing Day, an event where student-athletes around the country sign ‘letters of intent’ to play their [respective] sport at the college or university of their choice, was held on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the auditorium. Although some student-athletes have already “technically” signed with their school, the annual event is opened to students who have given the ‘extra’ that it takes to succeed at a higher level of play.
Falcon student-athletes signed letters for various sports including field hockey, football, baseball, and golf.
A list of students, their sports, and the school each will attend in the fall, is included here.
Senior Connor Worth will attend James Madison University to play baseball in the fall.
“I have personal connection at JMU and my new connections with the coaches have made the school feel like a home,” Worth said.
