The school’s Sunshine committee put a twist on spirit week this year, holding an “Underground Spirit Week” for only faculty and staff the week before the actual student spirit week that marks the end of the “year” before they head into a long winter break and return in the new year. Students are not supposed to know why their teachers are all dressed similarly, why they look like students or why they are dressed as if they, too, were still in high school.
Winter spirit staff days include:
Monday (12/09) “Monochromatic Monday” (Wear one color)
Tuesday (12/10) “Anything But a Cup” (Use anything but a cup)
Wednesday (12/11) “Dress Like a Student” (Emulate current student fashion)
Thursday (12/12) “Throwback Thur.” (Dress in styles from the past)
Friday (12/13) “Holiday Craze” (Dress for your favorite holiday)
