“I am involved in field hockey, lacrosse, Leadership Workshop Staff, National Honors Society, Math Honors Society, and I am a #lunchbag coordinator and participant. I was involved in SCA throughout my time at CHS, as well as the Vice President of the club my junior year. I became involved at CHS mostly because many of my friends were becoming a part of extracurriculars. Eventually, I began to find a lot of joy in the involvement and continued to show up to club meetings and even turn in more applications for more clubs. Being involved gives me the opportunity to meet new people. Leadership Workshop, though, has to be my favorite. Throughout my experience on the workshop staff, I have been able to spend a lot of time with some of my best friends, as well as getting to know others. The actual leadership weekend, where we put together a workshop for freshman and sophomores at CHS, is even more fun because we get to see it all come together and watch the underclassmen come out of their shell. Last year, as a #lunchbag coordinator, I got to see the event I planned come into action. Since #lunchbag is after the holidays, it was really beneficial because it was a time when bagged lunches were needed most. The whole experience itself was super rewarding. After graduation in June, my plan for the fall is to go to college and study architecture.”
