Throughout history, people have used fashion to express themselves and show their personalities through clothing.
The most popular shoes for girls this September leans towards Adidas Campus’s, Sambas, or Gazelles. Some other options with a similar style are Dolce Vita sneakers, Alohas, and Hogans, along with vintage Birkenstocks. All of these shoes seem to be a fashionable and comfortable option for students, but they are more pricey.
“My favorite item in my closet is my Adidas Campus’s, I got them online at Adidas,” sophomore Daisy Kriz said.
As far as “fits” go, straight or baggy jeans have also been super popular. Some of the more popular styles come from stores such as Free People, Hollister, and Agolde. Anything Lululemon is always in style and is seen not only on teens but is also popular with adults. Flared leggings have also been seen in the hallways and are normally paired with a T-shirt or a sweatshirt, often bought from name brand outlets such as Aerie.
“The trend I’m loving right now is baggy jeans,” junior Miranda Norwood said.
A variety of tops including the Lulu Scuba half zips, long sleeve Align shirts, and branded sweatshirts will continue their rise along with graphic Tees from stores such as Brandy Melville.
“My Lululemon Swiftly Tech is my favorite item in my closet,” sophomore Lila Ashley said.
And as the weather becomes colder and a chill enters the air, guys and girls styles will evolve as the seasons change.
