The first home game opener for the Falcon Varsity Football team concluded with a win over Bayside High School, 47-9.
The Falcon’s “nest” is our student section at home football games and has the purpose of providing optimistic vibes to our fans and players, as they bring up the spirit for the Falcons to soar through each game.
Over the past two years, the nest has fallen a bit short in spirit at each game. Due to Covid and other circumstances, our loud and colorful student section needed assistance.
Fortunately, new nest leaders this year; Hunter Faison (Junior) and Tripp Faison (Junior) have brought the enthusiasm back.
“I’m most excited about seeing everyone come together and cheer on our sports teams, when we cheer it makes our Falcon athletes better,” H. Faison said.
The Falcons fly over to First Colonial High School on Friday, September 13, to face off against the Patriots at 7 p.m. in this iconic rivalry.
Come out to support the Falcons in the ‘Battle of Mill Dam.’
