As fall begin, students head back to school and the weather becomes a bit chillier, classic fall fashion trends once again begin to trickle back into the halls of CHS. Each season brings a handful of new fashion trends that grow in popularity among Falcons, but it’s the classic styles and silhouettes that truly define the outfits.
For girls, chunky knits, neutral colors, and comfy boots are all staples for this year’s new fall “look”. Many are loving straight leg jeans, off the shoulder tops and sweaters, and incorporating a more feminine aesthetic into their looks. For years, these same styles have been trendy, and with each year that passes, they become timeless. Combining functionality with affordability is important especially for students, as many are working with a budget.
Students show their creativity, finding cute clothes for $30 or less from brands including but not limited to, Zara, Target, and Brandy Melville. Other staples may come at a higher price from brands like Uggs, Golden Gooses, and Free People, but there are knockoffs that still seem to be just as popular.
Fashion isn’t just for the ladies, as several fall fashion trends have been spotted on guys as well. Some popular staples among guys this season has been neutral tones like creme, gray, and navy. Outfits inspired by sports, such as golf, and old money, both aesthetics including quarter zips, polo shirts, and boat shoes. The inspirations in male fashion are very comparable to the styles in female fashion this fall, all classic, simple, and timeless.
Fashion at the school will continue to evolve, but as of now the iconic fashions of autumn are falling in place throughout the halls.
