Humans of Cox: January 2023 Edition

“My name is Connor Frucci and I am a senior at Cox this year. I plan on attending the University of Virginia next year to major in Computer Science. During the past four years at the school, I’ve made great memories from participating in events from #lunchbag to Boo Bash. There are so many things to do outside the classroom and it’s up to you to make the most of the opportunities.

One of the activities I did outside the classroom to make each day more interesting was collecting vinyl records. Ever since my junior year, I’ve grown my collection significantly, and I have a lot of fun doing it. I’ve also played tennis since middle school, and am on the Varsity team at Cox. Tennis was another way I foundĀ  enjoyment at school, and the competitiveness drove me forward to improve. Last year our team made regionals and the year before we made it to the state championship.

Throughout high school I’ve been able to grow as a person, meet new people, and participate in things outside of my comfort zone. All of the things I did ultimately made me a better person, and I wouldn’t change a thing if I did it all over again.” – senior Connor Frucci
