January’s Spotify playlist remembers 2022
We have now entered 2023 and with the new year comes change, no matter what one’s station is in life. The semester, or Term 1, will end at the end of January, which will mark the end of some classes for students and also bring on a new schedule. Seniors will make final college decisions and graduate in June this year. With all of the upcoming change, the press has created a more nostalgic playlist to reflect back on some of 2022’s top songs.
New releases like SZA’s “Kill Bill” and Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” can be found on the playlist, along with older songs that became trendy last year like “Runnin’ Up That Hill” by Kate Bush and Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain.” These songs and many more make this playlist a time capsule of 2022 for students to reflect upon.
To access the playlist, scan the code using the Spotify mobile app. All previous playlists can be found on the press’s Spotify account, which can also be accessed through the code.
