Humans Of Cox: October 2022 Edition 2.0

“Music has always been important to me and I use it as a way to connect with people. My love for music started when I was two and I started ballet. Hearing the beat of the songs allowed me to find interest in how the different tones and melodies work. When I started middle school, I started playing the flute, which eventually led to playing piccolo for the marching band in high school. Now, I’m a senior and I have taken on the position of Drum Major in the marching band. I am forever grateful to have had this opportunity. It’s amazing to look back and see how my passion for music has positively affected my life.” -senior Francesca Hasenauer
